Typhoon Saola’s effects on our Hong Kong flights

Due to Typhoon Saola, we had to cancel our Hong Kong flights, AY99 and AY100, departing on 1 September 2023. Unfortunately we cannot offer all customers on AY100/01SEP Hong Kong - Helsinki an alternative flight at the moment due to the very limited rerouting options, as also other airlines have cancelled their flights due to the weather in Hong Kong and operating flights on the next days are full. For re-arrangements, customers have been instructed to contact the ticket issuing agency via SMS and/or e-mail. To receive Finnair’s messages, please make sure that customers’ contact information on bookings is up to date. Customers on AY99/01SEP Helsinki - Hong Kong have been rerouted on 31 August 2023.
