Refunding Group Deposit or Group Ticket

Apply for refund via BSPlink Refund Application (RA). FGT reservation cancellation fees and deadlines are described in Terms and Conditions available in FGT.   

Apply for refund no later than one year after last usage date of the ticket or if ticket totally unused after one year of the ticket issuance date. If no tickets have been issued, then apply for refund no later than within one year of the EMD issuance date. 

Involuntary refund

  • Finnair has cancelled the flight(s) (flight has UN status) and no alternative option is available. Or Flight was delayed for more than 5 hours and the purpose of passenger’s trip is no longer valid.  
    Or there is a schedule change of more than 1 hour for passenger’s planned flight (schedule changes less than 1 hour, a refund will be based on ticket rules).
  • Booking should be fully cancelled before applying for a refund.
  • In BSPlink start applying/filling the form from the Document Enquiry. ARC agents, please see instructions below on how to submit refund application*.
  • Use Finnair issued technical deposit EMD and/or final payment EMD document number when tickets are not yet issued. When both (deposit and final payment) are paid, send for each own RA. Contact Finnair Group Sales Support team to obtain technical EMD number/s.
  • Use Ticket number when ticket is already issued for group member. Create one RA per ticket.
  • When ticket is reissued, apply with last, reissued ticket number, if possible.  

Voluntary refund

  • Deposit and group tickets are non-refundable. On unused tickets, certain airport taxes are refundable.
  • Booking should be fully cancelled before applying for a refund.
  • In BSPlink start applying/filling the form from the Document Enquiry. ARC agents, please see instructions below on how to submit refund application*.
  • Use Ticket number when ticket is already issued for group member. Create one RA per ticket.
  • Currently administrative refund handling fee is waived with FGT bookings. 

Refund Web-form Guidelines for ARC Travel Agents

  • ARC Travel Agents are to apply for refund via Refund Web-form on Finnair internet site. Please mention in additional information box: ARC Agent. 
  • Web-form must include booking reference (PNR), document numbers (please see details above) and reason for refund.
