HKG Airport closed due to demonstrations

Hong Kong Airport is closed due to demonstrations. Finnair monitors situation carefully.

Finnair has sent AY100 13AUG customers SMS and e-mail advising customers not to go to the airport.
AY100 13AUG will be heavily delayed. SMS & e-mail about the delay will be sent to customers.
AY101 HEL-HKG 12AUG & AY102 13AUG HKG-HEL are cancelled.
AY101 12Aug: Service recovery team is working on the rerouting and normal rerouting policy applies.

AY099 HEL-HKG 12AUG will be heavily delayed
Customer Policy for passengers on 12AUG AY99 and AY101 and 13AUG AY100 and AY102:

• refund
• date change for next 2 week (13-27AUG)
• change of origin/destination to another AY operated Chinese route. AY will not pay for ground transportation.

Customer Policy for passengers on other AY operated HKG flights 13-14AUG which are still operating:

• date change for next 2 weeks (13-27AUG)
• change of origin/destination to another AY operated Chinese route. AY will not pay for ground transportation.

Please add: OSI AY refund or rerouting done due to HKG airport closure and add date.
