Finnair to expand digital-distribution-only content on routes from Finland and Baltics to USA

Update 23FEB24: It is good to note that although the Light fare from Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to USA may be sold only via NDC or Finnair.com, they will still remain in the Edifact fare display.

Earlier in August 2023 we announced launching Finnair NDC distribution officially in the US market following the enablement of ARC settlement in our NDC flow. 

Continuing on our journey to drive the industry-wide digital transformation, the next step will be offering Finnair marketed AJB (Atlantic Joint Business) Light Fare from Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to USA only via modern digital distribution channels - Finnair NDC and Finnair.com.  

This change will take place on 12 February 2024 and it will entail that the Finnair marketed AJB Light Fare from above mentioned countries to USA will not be available via Edifact distribution beyond this date. 

Our travel agent partners can access all Finnair NDC content including all AJB Light Fares by establishing a direct connection to Finnair NDC APIs, utilizing Finnair Agency Sales Tool (FAST) or utilizing one of Finnair's certified NDC aggregators.
