Changes in Finnair traffic plan for winter 2024-2025

Hotspot

We have updated our traffic plan for the winter season on 30 October 2024 – 29 March 2025. The changes include flight cancellations and schedule changes. We are sorry about the harm and inconvenience these changes may cause to customers’ travel plans.

The most significant changes are:

  • AY145/6 HEL-BKK-HEL flights will be cancelled, and the affected customers will be rerouted to other AY BKK flights. Please note that the new flights, AY143/4 BKK, have been added to the winter season's traffic programme.
  • AY151/2 HEL-HKT-HEL schedule change
  • Shanghai flight dates change: AY87 from Thursday to Friday, AY88 from Friday to Saturday
  • Los Angeles flight dates change from Monday, Wednesday and Friday → to Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday
  • Widerøe to operate all our direct Bergen flights on winter season 2024-2025

All the schedule changes and cancellations are expected to be processed and customers notified on 2 May 2024. After a PNR is processed, you will be able to see the suggested alternative flight for the affected passenger(s).

Finnair has proposed a new connection to the customer and automatically updated the ticket.

In case the new schedule is not suitable for the customer, the SSR OTHS INVOL element in the booking permits one further free involuntary change and/or cancellation as per the below guidelines.

For bookings made via NDC: same policy applies and for booking handling contact our Agent Help Desk by clicking on the chat icon at the bottom right corner of the page (select NDC Support) for the change or cancellation.
