Changes in carry-on baggage allowance as of July 6th

Hotspot

We have made temporary changes to our carry-on baggage policy which is effective from July 6th 2020.

When travelling in Business Class, passenger can bring two pieces of carry-on baggage onboard and a smaller personal item. In Economy Class, all customers are allowed to bring one piece of carry-on baggage and a smaller personal item. The allowed new dimensions for a carry-on bag are 55x40x23cm and for a personal item 40x30x15cm.

With this we aim to smoothen the boarding and handling the carry-on baggage onboard.

The key changes are:

  • The carry-on baggage allowance is defined by travel class from now on
  • Size of the cabin baggage is decreased with few centimetres to 55x40x23cm, the personal item size remains the same, 40x30x15cm
  • The change applies also to top tier members, so they are no longer allowed to bring additional carry-on baggage when travelling in Economy class

More specific guidelines in Easy under the Baggage section will be updated accordingly shortly.
