Impact of the situation in Iran on Finnair flights

Finnair has suspended operations in Iran airspace until further notice.

For the time being, Finnair does not use Iranian airspace to route its flights. The changes in flight routes affect our flights from Doha, causing longer flight times. Finnair doesn’t have flights to Iran in its traffic plan.  

We follow closely the recommendations of the authorities and continuously carry out our own assessment of possible factors related to the use of airspace that may affect Finnair flights. We will update any new information on this page.

Since the impact on our flights has not yet been confirmed, the normal ticket conditions apply for the time being.

If a customer’s journey is disrupted, Finnair will update the PNR/ticket and contact the customer personally via SMS and/or e-mail. To receive Finnair’s messages, please make sure that customers’ contact information on bookings is up to date.
