Flights in our brand-new Premium Economy travel class are now for sale.

The complete new Finnair long-haul experience – the renewed Business Class, totally new Premium Economy travel class and the refreshed Economy Class - will be first available during the summer season on our Singapore route, starting 11 May until the end of October 2022.​

Singapore serves as a hub to explore Asia or to access Australia, which is now also opening for travel. Singapore welcomes fully vaccinated travellers from Finland and many other countries with the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) agreement. We fly to Singapore avoiding Russian airspace which lengthens the travel time approximately one hour from normal.

We have some aircraft with renewed cabin flying already in February-April, and passengers may experience the space and comfort of the new cabins by surprise and delight on certain flights. ​

Gradually, passengers will get the new long-haul experience on more routes and flights, as more aircraft is refurbished during 2022-2023. Through GDS and our booking engine on finnair.com or Finnair mobile app you can see if Premium Economy is available for specific flight. When Premium Economy is offered as a travel class, it also means that a flight is with one of the aircraft that has the totally new Business Class and refreshed Economy Class.

Naturally our all three ticket types (Flex, Classic, Light) are available in Premium Economy as well. You can check the benefits of each ticket type in different travel class here.

Premium Economy booking classes are W, E, T and P. There are no changes in our current RBDs in Business Class and Economy Class.

Starting 11 May 2022, customers will enjoy new menus and in-flight service concepts in Business and Premium Economy Classes on all our long-haul flights.​ Further info can be found on Finnair.com.
