Finnair to continue state-subsidised traffic to Kajaani, Kokkola, Kemi, Jyväskylä & Joensuu until 28 April 2024

The Government of Finland has granted funding for the continuation of five regional routes with state-subsidised traffic. Finnair has operated public service obligation traffic to Kajaani, Kokkola, Kemi, Jyväskylään and Joensuu since the end of last year and will continue to operate these routes also during 31.7.2023–28.4.2024. Finnair does not intend to return to these routes as a commercial operator.

The flights are operated by Norra with ATR 72 aircraft. There will be 10 weekly flights to Jyväskylä, Joensuu and Kajaani and flights to Kemi and Kokkola will be operated as triangle flights 14 times a week. Flights are now available in GDS and NDC, where you can also see detailed schedules.
