Changes in Business Light ticket type pricing from Asia
Last year we completed the renewal of our ticket type offering and launched the Business Light ticket type.
Starting from 5th of April, due to market specific needs the Business Light ticket type will not be publicly available from Asia but instead all travel agencies will be able to access the Business Light ticket type fares with a specific pricing code. With this change we wish to mitigate the situations where our customers have purchased a business class ticket with Business Light ticket type without knowing the ticket type benefits.
The access to Business Light fares with the specific pricing code is granted to all travel agencies automatically.
Update: Similarly like Business Light for POC Asia, Economy Light and Premium Economy Light (POC Japan) has been moved under the same pricing code. This means that below details now apply to all Light fares originating Asia.

Fares to be effective for sales and travel as of April 5, 2022. Business Light ticket type is available only on Finnair marketed and operated flights (AY/AY).
When selling the Business Light ticket type, please make sure that the customer is informed in a clear way about the benefits and conditions of this ticket type.
This change only applies to fares originating Asia. No changes to other markets nor other ticket types in other travel classes. No action is needed for the Business Light tickets issued before 5th of April, with travel date after 5th of April, 2022.
