Changes in booking pet in the hold (AVIH) as of 1st July

As of 1st July 2022 customers are required to pre-book pet in the hold (AVIH) 3 weeks before the departure, so that we have clear visibility to the bookings and demand for space requirements. This applies to all new AVIH bookings on routes where AVIH is accepted.

Prices for AVIH will be revised at the same and the updated prices are in systems 1st July 2022.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, we have not been able to accept bookings to carry a pet in the hold (AVIH) of our wide body aircraft on intercontinental flights. For travel as of 1st August 2022 we allow AVIH´s to fly all US routes with normal quotas, other long-haul destinations remain closed until further notice.
Carrying pets in the hold on our European flights continues normally.
