Carrying mobility aids to be improved as of 20.12.2019

Customers with special needs can enjoy better service from now on, as they can share with us in advance, if they are planning to carry a mobility aid, such as a walker, with them.

A new SSR MOBA is now available in GDS.

The handling of wheelchair customers remains the same, but the new SSR MOBA will be used when the customer travels with a different type of mobility aid, e.g. walker, shower chair etc. The confirmation has been automated as for WCHR and WCHS.

This will remove the need to add the second wheelchair/mobility aid as /SSR XBAG, which caused issues during check-in due to the chargeable "/" indicator.
