An update to our Payment Policy on 1st of December - penalty fee for violations raising to 5%
We have released an updated version of our Payment Policy; the version 3.0 will be valid starting from the 1st of December 2022 and can be found on the Payment Policy page under Reservation and Ticketing. All travel agents are advised to read the updated Finnair Payment Policy carefully. The current Finnair Payment Policy will be valid until 30th of November 2022 and can still be accessed on that same page.
The updated Finnair Payment Policy (v3.0) gives clarification on Agent Card Policy, and guidance for prevention and handling of chargebacks. Kindly be reminded that usage of travel agents’ own credit card is not allowed.
All payment transactions are monitored, and violations are subject to the penalty fee. Please note that the penalty fee for violations against Finnair Payment Policy is raised and will be 5% on documents issued on or after 01st of December 2022.
Travel agents are also reminded to take all necessary actions to prevent chargebacks, and in case of them travel agents are to collaborate as requested by the Finnair chargeback team.
