SSR CLID now in use for corporate customer numbers

We are now changing the way a client code is entered in a Finnair flight booking and start to use the IATA standard SSR CLID element as the basis for corporate customer identification and reporting.
The current OS-element based system to enter a client code into a booking (OS AY CMP / OS YY CMP) will continue to work in parallel until the end of August 2023, but with this message we ask your office to prepare for the transition to the new CLID element as soon as possible. From September onwards, corporate sales will only be registered on the basis of the client code in a CLID element.
The introduction of the CLID element will take place in stages:
• the functionality is already available in all travel agencies using Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport
• For Travelsky agencies, the functionality will be activated later in the summer
NOTE! This change only applies to the entry of the client code in the booking and has no effect on the client code itself, nor the pricing of the client or the pricing code.
Amadeus travel agencies
CLID functionality has been activated in Amadeus and you can make changes to your corporate customer profiles and use the CLID element for individual corporate customer bookings. The cryptic command for the element is
SR*CLIDAYHK/AY followed immediately by the client code, e.g. SR*CLIDAYHK/AYXXX123YY
Sabre travel agencies
CLID functionality has been activated in Sabre and you can make changes to your corporate customer profiles and use the CLID element for individual corporate customer bookings. The cryptic command for the element is:
3CLIDAY/AYXXX123YY (where XXX123YY is replaced by the client code).
Travelport travel agencies
CLID functionality has been activated in Travelport and you can make changes to your corporate customer profiles and use the CLID element for individual corporate customer bookings. The cryptic command for the element is:
SI.SSRCLIDAYHK1/AYXXX123YY (where XXX123YY is replaced by the client code).
Please contact Agent Helpdesk if CLID needs to be changed after first save.
Travelsky travel agencies
CLID functionality has been activated in Travelsky and you can make changes to your corporate customer profiles and use the CLID element for individual corporate customer bookings. The cryptic command for the element is:
SSR CLID AY HK/AYXXX123YY (where XXX123YY is replaced by the client code).
Error situations
The new element validates the correctness of the corporate’s client code when adding the element, similar to, for example, entering a Finnair Plus number to a booking; an incorrect code or a code that is not active in our corporate customer database can no longer be added to a booking.
If you try to add a code to a booking that is not recognized, you will receive an automatic response from the booking system "CORPORATE ACCOUNT NOT FOUND". In this case, please first check that the client code which you are entering is correct. If the code is correct but you receive the above response, please report the code to us by using this form. The main reason why the code is not active is that the customer does not currently have a valid corporate travel contract with Finnair.
Future use of the OS element
It will be possible to enter the corporate’s client code in the OS element in the OS AY CMP / OS YY CMP format until the end of August 2023. From the beginning of September, we will send an automatic SR OTHS message to your office queue Q3 C0, asking you to add the client code in an SR CLID element. Avoid these unnecessary queue messages by switching to the CLID element before August. From September onwards, corporate sales will only be registered on the basis of the client code in a CLID element.

SSR CLID-elementti käyttöön yritysasiakasnumeroa varten
Siirrymme käyttämään yritysasiakkaan tunnistamisen sekä raportoinnin perusteena IATA-standardin mukaista SSR CLID -elementtiä.
Nyt käytössä oleva OS-elementtiin perustuva tunnistus (yritysasiakasnumero, eli ns. client code, varauksella OS AY CMP / OS YY CMP -muodossa) toimii rinnakkain elokuun 2023 loppuun saakka mutta tällä viestillä pyydämme toimistoanne valmistumaan uuteen CLID-elementtiin siirtymiseen mahdollisimman pian. Syyskuusta alkaen yritysostot kirjautuvat vain CLID-elementissä olevan yritysasiakasnumeron perusteella.
CLID-elementin käyttöönotto tapahtuu vaiheittain:
• toiminnallisuus on jo nyt käyttövalmis kaikissa Amadeus-, Sabre- ja Travelport-varausjärjestelmiä käyttävissä matkatoimistoissa
• Travelsky -varausjärjestelmää käyttävissä toimistoissa toiminnallisuus aktivoituu myöhemmin kesän aikana
HUOM! Tämä muutos koskee siis vain yritysasiakasnumeron (client code) syöttämistä varaukseen eikä tällä ole vaikutusta itse yritysasiakasnumeroon, yritysasiakkaan hinnoitteluun tai hinnoittelukoodiin (pricing code).

CLID-toiminnallisuus on aktivoitu Amadeuksessa ja voitte tehdä muutokset yritysasiakasprofiileihin sekä käyttää CLID-elementtiä yksittäisissä yritysasiakasvarauksissa. Kryptinen komento elementille on

Virhetilanteet
Uusi elementti vahvistaa yritysasiakasnumeron oikeellisuuden ja voimassaolon elementin lisäyksen yhteydessä, samaan tapaan kuin vaikkapa Finnair Plus -numeron syöttäminen varaukselle; väärää tai sellaista koodia, joka ei ole aktiivinen yritysasiakastietokannassamme, ei voi enää jatkossa lisätä varaukselle.
Jos yrität lisätä varaukselle koodia, jota ei tunnisteta, saat varausjärjestelmältä automaattivastauksen ”CORPORATE ACCOUNT NOT FOUND”. Tarkista tällöin ensin, että yritysasiakasnumero on varmasti oikein. Mikäli koodi on oikein mutta saat edellä mainitun vastauksen, raportoi koodi tällöin meille tällä lomakkeella. Pääasiallinen syy sille, miksi koodi ei ole aktiivinen on se, että asiakkaalla ei juuri nyt ole voimassa olevaa yritysmatkustussopimusta Finnairin kanssa.
OS-elementin käyttö jatkossa
Yritysasiakasnumeron syöttäminen varaukseen on mahdollista OS-elementissä OS AY CMP / OS YY CMP -muodossa elokuun 2023 loppuun saakka. Syyskuun alusta lähetämme automaattisen SR OTHS -viestin toimistosi jonoon Q3 C0, jossa kehotamme lisäämään yritysasiakasnumeron SR CLID-elementtiin. Vältät nämä turhat jonoviestit siirtymällä CLID-elementin käyttöön ennen elokuuta. Syyskuusta alkaen yritysostot kirjautuvat vain CLID-elementissä olevan yritysasiakasnumeron perusteella.
