Finnair Easy News

Finnair will end its routes between Stockholm, Copenhagen and Doha as of 15 January 2025

Operational news

Finnair will end its routes between Stockholm, Copenhagen and Doha from mid-January, following a transformation with our oneworld partner Qatar Airways. In practice, this means that Finnair will no longer operate these routes from Copenhagen or Stockholm Arlanda as of January 15, 2025, and from Doha as of January 16, 2025. Finnair customers who are affected by these cancellations will be rerouted, mostly on Qatar Airlines-operated flights on same routes. Finnair will continue to offer codeshare flights on Qatar Airways’ flights.

Finnair will propose a new connection to the affected customers and automatically update the tickets. In case the new schedule is not suitable for the customer, the SSR OTHS INVOL element in the booking permits one further free involuntary change and/or cancellation as per the guidelines below.

For bookings made via NDC: same policy applies for NDC bookings. In case your selected connection doesn’t support the involuntary reissue or refund features, please contact our Agent Help Desk for booking handling by clicking on the chat icon at the bottom right corner of the page (select NDC Support) for the change or cancellation.
