VAT

Whenever the transportation or service is subject to the domestic VAT, the VAT is to be calculated on the applicable domestic fare including the domestic passenger taxes, fees and charges.

EMD

EMD is used to collect fees outside a ticket. It can be used for several types of ancillary services and miscellaneous charges to further tailor passengers booking with available travel extras.

Ticket time limits

There are a couple of time limits on a booking that need to be acknowledged for successful ticket issuance.

Advance passenger information (API)

Finnair recommends inserting API data already at the time of booking especially if the passenger has a connecting flight with another carrier in the same booking.
