Towards modern NDC distribution: Agreement with Travelport

Update 13feb25: Travelport is now live with Finnair NDC

NDC content is now available in Travelport selling platform in around 60 markets. Travel agent partners can onboard to our NDC by selecting Travelport as their NDC Aggregator via this page. 

 

We are progressing with distribution transformation and happy to announce a new agreement with Travelport to include both modern NDC content and traditional EDIFACT content. Under the new agreement, Travelport-connected agencies will have continued access to Finnair content.

NDC implementation project with Travelport is expected to start soon with aimed go live by the end of Q3 2024. 

The changes are part of the comprehensive technology transformation of flight ticket distribution, which Finnair has invested in for years and has been a pioneer in developing and scaling modern technology for travel agency distribution based on NDC standard. You can read more about the renewal of the distribution transformation here.
