Benefits of NDC version 21.3

21.3 is the convergence version of the NDC API, boasting a lot of improvements and new features.

We are working with our partners who are currently on version 18.1 to migrate to 21.3. New partners will implement directly with version 21.3.

Here are some of the major benefits of NDC version 21.3:

Grammar enhancement

• Big clean-up done by removing unused/unclear items (InventoryReleaseNotifRQ)​​

• Rework on TimeLimit

• Commission structure

• All backport such as 3DSV2 and GST handling

• Better structure on fare rules for better adoption to sellers (TMC)​

• OrderCancel remove with a better streamlined flow for a better customer experience​​

• New process with OrderQuote

• Airline taxonomy provide capability to better expose a bigger panel of ancillary content that will not be recognized in legacy world (Time to market reduced for any new IATA codeset request)​
