Finnair continues to invest and develop modern retailing capabilities by utilizing IATA's New Distribution Capability (NDC) standard to provide a better digital booking and servicing experience to our travel agency partners and mutual customers. With NDC, we are able to compile the best and most relevant offers, automate processes and reduce the risk of errors.
Having started our NDC journey in 2016, we know that the road can be sometimes rocky, however with proactive partner collaboration we have had great success stories in NDC adoption by travel agencies and aggregators.

Finnair NDC minimises time constraints by offering:
- deferred payment option (book and hold)
- option to void
- cancel and refund without penalties within 24-hours from ticketing.
