OS AY elements

Page latest updated:

OSAY TCP

Reservations must be linked together when a child under 12-years-old travels together with his/her parents or some other adult and they have separate reservations.

It is sufficient to have one name from the other PNR exactly as written in the name-element, without passenger type-indicator in brackets; CHD, ADT etc.

OS AY TCP JOHNSSON/MARIE MS
For the adult, MS/MR is part of name. Remember to add / between the first and the last name.

OS AY TCP JOHNSSON/JOSEPHINE (for the child)

Thus the PNRs are linked together in the departure control system and the onload process will handle both PNRs as a group automatically.

Do not use TCP for any other cases.

OSAY CMP

We are now changing the way a client code is entered in a Finnair flight booking and will start to use the IATA standard SSR CLID element as the basis for corporate customer identification and reporting.

The current OS-element based system to enter a client code into a booking (OS AY CMP / OS YY CMP) will continue to work in parallel until the end of August 2023, but prepare for the transition to the new CLID element as soon as possible. From September 2023 onwards, corporate sales will only be registered on the basis of the client code in a CLID element.

You can find more information on SSR CLID on Finnair Corporate Programme page in section “4. Client code”.
