Name elements

It is important to insert name element correctly in all scenarios to ensure that the name in the flight ticket matches with the name in passenger’s travel document.

Name corrections

Passenger´s name must be an exact match with the name in their travel document. In case of misspellings, the passenger’s name needs to be corrected.

Name changes

Name change is needed when passenger changes. Name changes are allowed for ticketed bookings only.

Passenger contacts

Passenger contact information is used by different automation systems to provide customers with relevant information. This also includes disruption notices regarding customers' booking.

Waitlist

Waitlisting is possible via Edifact and applicable for J, W, and Y classes. The seats will be automatically confirmed whenever possible.

Information elements

Booking may include certain information elements e.g. to identify corporate customer or to link separate bookings together.
